It is NOT mandatory for teams to participate in the shootout portion of the tournament. If you would like to participate in the shootout, the donation policy below follows.

Donation Policies

• In order for your team to be eligible to participate in the Shootout portion of the tournament, each player (including goalies) must adhere to the donation criteria
• Once the food donations and team cash donation has been received, each player will receive a ballot that will be entered into the draw to shoot on the “Big Guy”

Part 1: Non-Perishable Food Donation Requirement

• Each PLAYER (and goalie) must donate 10 non-perishable food items (we will keep track at the registration table).

Part 2: Cash Donation Requirement

• Each TEAM is required to make a collective donation of $100 in either cash or a grocery store gift card.
  • This works out to approximately $10 per player, depending on team size.
• The team manager is responsible for collecting the donations from their team prior to the tournament and submitting the team's combined donation at the registration table.
• If donating a gift card, please provide a grocery store gift card only (Calgary Co-op, Walmart, Sobeys, Safeway, Superstore, etc)

Note: If someone on your team is unable to donate, other team members can “cover” their donation so that your team is still eligible.

Additional Ballot Entries

• Players can bring in additional items for additional ballots in their team’s shootout draw: 5 items AND $5 cash donation = 1 extra ballot

ALL DONATIONS / ITEMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 10:00AM ON DAY 2 in order to be eligible for Santa's Shootout

If your team chooses to not participate in donations, you will be ineligible for the Shootout portion of the tournament.

All items donated (cash, gift cards and/or food items) will be donated to the local Calgary Food Bank at the conclusion of the tournament.

Shootout Portion Details

• Each team will be allowed FOUR (4) SKATERS to participate in the Santa Shootout.
  • Attack Sports will decide by individual team draw which athletes participate in the shootout.
• Each skater will receive 3 chances or pucks to score on Santa.
• Each goal scored during the Santa Shootout will count towards each team's total points during the Round Robin.
  • Each goal will be worth an additional 1⁄2 point, for a maximum of 6 extra points

Teams are NOT REQUIRED to participate in the Santa Shootout.
