COVID-19 Update

Last updated at 1:00pm on Monday, September 20th.

We have updated our COVID-19 policy at ATTACK SPORTs due to the new restrictions in place as of September 20, 2021 province wide. It will be required that parents and athletes (12 and older) provide ATTACK SPORTS their proof of vaccination card to enter ATTACK SPORTS or the facility being used.

We have updated our COVID-19 waiver/questionnaire. Please take the time to review this document and sign it here

We are monitoring the ever-changing situation and relying on reputable sources to ensure that the best practices are followed within our facility and with all of our programming.  At this point in time (Monday, September 20, 2021), ATTACK SPORTS is able to REMAIN OPEN with the continued restrictions put in place by the Government of Alberta.

  • 1 on 1 private skating treadmill training - by appointment only.

  • 1 on 1 private shooting instruction - by appointment only.

  • ATHLETES ONLY are allowed in our training facility - NO ADULTS/PARENTS or SPECTATORS.

  • Proof of vaccination will be required by ATTACK SPORTS or the facility being used.

As always, the health and safety of all our athletes, instructors and staff continue to be our top priority. Attack Sports is following the guidelines for re-opening as outlined by Alberta Health Services and the Alberta government. As updates about Covid-19 become available from the City of Calgary, Alberta Health Services, the Alberta Government, the Canadian Government and the World Health Organization, we will always respond and act in accordance with the latest recommendations.

What are we doing at Attack Sports?

We are focused on being proactive. We are relying on the guidance of AHS and will continue to implement our action plan based on the guidelines and recommendations outlined for our sector, Return to Sport, Physical Activity, and Recreation. If you would like to view this document, please click here.

First, we have established a questionnaire to ensure the safety of all our participants, instructors, and staff. If you are planning on coming to our facility, we require that the waiver/questionnaire be completed prior to your arrival. There are no exceptions to this. Please click here to complete the questionnaire/waiver. If you have any questions about this questionnaire, please contact us.

The Attack Sports facility and all equipment are being cleaned with bleach on a regular basis. Our facility is a very clean place for our athletes as we will be completing extra disinfecting around the facility particularly of the high touch areas which include: door handles, bathrooms, training areas, and equipment. As always, we use disinfectant spray and bleach on all our surfaces. This will happen multiple times throughout the day, plus a more thorough cleaning nightly following all of our programmings and our participants have left the facility. Additionally, there will be multiple hand sanitizer bottles located around our facility for use.

At the time of this most recent announcement, we have limited occupancy of people in our facility. Please note that this total includes participants, instructors, and staff.

Attack Sports DOES NOT permit parents in our facility. We request participants be dropped off at the front door of our facility.  Please note that upon drop-off, all participants will have their temperature taken and recorded. We also have a list of screening questions that must be answered each day that primarily consists of a symptom check. This information will be kept for a two-week period then disposed of in a secure manner. PLEASE NOTE: that a temperature of 38 degrees or higher is indicative of fever and that participant will be asked to return home.

As we have stated previously if you and/or your family members have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days and/or have had close contact with a confirmed and/or probably case of Covid-19 and/or are now experiencing symptoms, we ask that you do not come to our facility. Please, let Attack Sports know immediately so that we can alert the appropriate health authorities and follow the applicable guidelines. For any future travel plans, please refer to AHS guidelines upon your return.

Please call Health Link 811 if you are showing symptoms and feel that you may have been exposed to Covid-19.

As always, we adhere to our standard Attack Sports Illness Policy
