Girls Only Classes

Agility & Mobility

Wednesdays 6-7pm

In this class for 9-13 year old girls only, we work on the ability to change direction quickly and be more explosive while maintaining balance. Acceleration, decleration, direction changes, proper posture, quickness, reaction time and stabilization are the focuses for the agility compontent. For the mobility aspect, we focus on the whole body by using different movements to address aspects that may limit mvoement and athletic performance. 

Strength & Conditioning

Mondays 6-7pm

In this class for 9-13 year old girls only, we focus on the basics of strength training with an emphasis on safety, technique and age appropriate exercises. There will be an introduction to differen ttypes of equipment and the benefits of each. Also, we will teach techniques to maximize endurance, performance and recovery through interval and circuit training.
